T5: SSC and TK Parsing and Speedrun Rules on WCL Fresh

This article goes through various rules, banned items, and adds excluded from bosses in SSC/TK on Warcraft Logs Fresh. There are also rules for the Speedruns in each raid listed.

Serpentshrine Caverns Parsing Rules

Hydross the Unstable

Damage done to Pure/Tainted Spawn of Hydross is removed.

The Lurker Below

Damage done to Coilfang Ambushers is removed.

Leotheras the Blind

No rules.

Fathom-Lord Karathress

No rules.

Morogrim Tidewalker

Damage done to Tidewalker Lurker is removed.

Lady Vashj

Lady Vashj is removed from Damage ASP.

Tempest Keep Parsing Rules

Al'ar

Damage done to Ember of Al'ar is removed.

Void Reaver

No rules.

High Astromancer Solarian

Damage done to Solarium Agent is removed.

Kael'thas Sunstrider

Kael'thas is removed from Damage ASP.

Other

Power Infusion

The amount of Power Infusions you can receive is capped at the amount a single priest can provide over the course of a fight.

Various Buffs

• Battle Shout from the Warrior Class Quest is banned.
• Traces of Silithyst is banned.
• Fire Shield from Alterac Valley or Terrorspark
• Whipped Frenzy
• Blessing of Blackfathom
• Mr. Pinchy's Sunder Armor
• Eskander's Shred
• Battle Squawk from Gnomish Battle Chicken

Various buffs/debuffs acquired from outside the fight are generally not allowed.

Misc Healing Exploits

Using Crystal of Zin-malor or Life Tap to pad healing parses will invalidate your parses.

Complete Raid

Complete Raid on Warcraft Logs means doing the full raid in one go. This has a clear starting point and ends when the last boss is killed. The Start/End point can be seen in the Speedrun rules below.

Doing a Complete Raid rewards you with Complete Raid parses. This includes Speed parses for Guilds and Boss Fight DPS parses for personal parses.

Boss Fight DPS

This is the parse for all boss encounter DPS combined, only counting kills. This requires you to do the full raid in one raid day.

Boss and Trash DPS

This is the DPS parse for all boss + trash encounters combined, counting everything. This requires you to do the full raid in one raid day. Everything (unless explicitly said so above) is included for overall boss/trash, even excluded adds, and downtime is not factored in.

T5 Speedruns

This article lists all the speedrun rules for T5 (Serpentshrine Caverns & Tempest Keep) on Warcraft Logs rankings for Fresh Anniversary Servers. If you have any suggestions or questions, please join us on Discord to discuss.

We have some general rules for Speedruns: - No pre-clearing is allowed. - Don't skip trash or pre-position using methods such as stealth, pre-summoning, or similar.

Also note that speedruns also need to follow the banned parsing list. Any buff banned for parsing is also equally banned in speedruns as an invalidated boss fight will also invalidate your speedrun.

Speedrun Video Requirement

For the top 5 guilds at the end of the phase, you must upload a full, uncut video clearly showing:

• Instance being reset before entering
• Any in-instance assembly/summon prep

This video should be uploaded to YouTube and linked to the corresponding combat log.

SSC Rules

All parsing rules are primarily created based on community feedback, suggestions, or proposals. Join us on Discord to contribute.

• Start Point: The Lurker Below or the trash pack closest to the instance entrance.

• End Point: The run ends with Lady Vashj kill. You cannot validate your run by doing trash after Lady Vashj is dead.

SSC Trash Requirements

TK Rules

• Start Point: TK speedrun starts with the first trash pack pull.
• End Point: The run ends with Kael'thas kill. You cannot validate your run by doing trash after Kael'thas is dead.
