Wipefest in The Venomous Abyss

Wipefest support for The Venomous Abyss is live, and is already helping guilds everywhere analyze the boss mechanics in their pulls and work out how they can improve their performance and continue progressing.

Not used Wipefest before and want to learn more about how you can use it to analyze your Warcraft Logs reports? Read How to Improve Your Raid With Wipefest.

Let's dig into some examples of what mechanics Wipefest can automatically analyze for you in Manaforge! Make sure to check every boss for your needs, as below are just some examples of the analysis Wipefest provides for your raid.

Ready Check

Some insights are available regardless of which boss you're looking at, including checks on potions, healthstones, flasks, food, enchants, gems, and deaths. For example, the ready check insight can give you a quick overview of everyone's gear:

Nek'zali has an interesting loop of Undead skeleton adds spawning and respawning. Destroy them by lighting them on fire, so that they don't respawn again.

This soak mechanic applies that light-on-fire debuff to players who DON'T soak. Keep track of who is soaking and who is burning.

There is another soak mechanic on Vashnik (really, there are a lot of soak mechanics in the whole raid...). This one gets spooky quick! The player can't be healed until enough other players help soak. Help them before they die to damage!

Wipefest can help you track each debuff, and how quickly it gets removed.

Take down this tricky trio of Turtles, but make sure to kill them evenly. They'll enrage if any Turtle dies before the rest!

Try to damage them evenly, but you can't let them all be too close together! Turtles will gain a 99% damage reduction when they're too close. Wipefest helps you track if you fail this mechanic, which might make it harder to evenly kill the bosses.

Two bosses? Two tankbusters! Keep track of your debuff stacks to see if you're swapping bosses at the right times.

Ula'tek is one angry snake. Or I guess... several angry snakes? Not sure. If no player is in melee range, the boss gets angry and damages the whole raid!

This last two bosses of a raid tend to have a lot of mechanics! Use the Guide tab for a quick refresh while you review your pulls.

Wrapping Up

This is just a taste of some of the mechanical analysis that Wipefest has to offer, alongside other features such as player scores, event timelines, guides, and multi-pull analysis.
