Wipefest in Midnight Season 1

Wipefest support for Voidspire and Dreamrift has been live since the raids released, and is already helping guilds everywhere analyze the boss mechanics in their pulls and work out how they can improve their performance and continue progressing. March on Quel'Danas will be ready for analysis when the raid becomes available!

Let's dig into some examples of what mechanics Wipefest can automatically analyze for you in Manaforge! Make sure to check every boss for your needs, as below are just some examples of the analysis Wipefest provides for your raid.

Ready Check

Some insights are available regardless of which boss you're looking at, including checks on potions, healthstones, flasks, food, enchants, gems, and deaths. For example, the ready check insight can give you a quick overview of everyone's gear:

This boss is pretty unique: its a game of tic-tac-toe! Imagine the room as a board. Your goal is to prevent three "spaces" in a row from being claimed. With mechanics like this, it can be tedious to try and analyze what goes wrong.

Sometimes, Wipefest provides special insights by combining multiple types of information into a clean visual— in this case, a step by step of where and when each space was claimed so that you can find where your raid made a mistake.

Some mechanics are the plain ol' fashioned "DON'T STAND IN THAT!". These things may not be lethal on their own, but the extra damage can really add up. Use Wipefest to help find who needs to watch their feet, before your healers start to get angry!

Other times, these things ARE lethal on their own. If you stand in

, your healers won't even have a chance to get angry before you're already dead.

This dragon pair has all sorts of mechanics. Kicks, soaks, crowd control, dispels, dodges, and more. Finding the review overwhelming? Can't remember what's what? Many breakdowns integrate Mythic Trap tips that explain the ability and how you should handle it. This info can help you understand the importance of each piece of analysis.

In this example,

is a typical tether mechanic. Run away to break it. But by reading closer, you can learn the consequence of not breaking tethers quickly— increasing DOT damage. The players taking the most damage may be taking too long to break their tethers and putting themselves in danger!

Triple bosses? Triple mechanics. With so much going on, encounters can start to get scary. Wipefest can help you view each piece of the puzzle separately and find what to focus on improving. The number on the left helps explain how well your group is performing at executing each mechanic compared to other groups. It looks like my Guild has some room for improvement!

In this fight full of void themed mechanics, an arrow of light helps you pierce through the darkness! Put more plainly,

applies several debuffs to players throughout the fight which can be removed using
. However, being hit by the arrow still deals a hit of damage. Because of this, players should try to avoid being hit by the arrow when they have no debuff to remove. Analyzing this in logs alone would take several steps, but with Wipefest you can break it down with one click.

Wrapping Up

This is just a taste of some of the mechanical analysis that Wipefest has to offer, alongside other features such as player scores, event timelines, guides, and multi-pull analysis.
