Archon: Record Your Game.
You probably already know about recording your combat logs. Now, with the Archon App, you can record your gameplay too.
And then? You can put them together.
Create a Log of your combat data which you can use to review your gameplay. Use the App to record video while you play. Combine these together to make sure no mistakes (or impressive plays) are ever missed.
Automated Recording
Simply adjust your settings, select the content you'd like to record, start your log, and get playing. We'll hook it all together for you!
Review Your Play
Watch back your video alongside a timeline to get a full picture of what happened and when. Reference the Replay Map to pinpoint where allies and enemies moved throughout the fight, even when they're out of view.
Video is now available for World of Warcraft and Fellowship. Support for our other games is already underway!
Getting it Right
Our team has been excited about this feature for a long time now. Combining log and video analysis makes perfect sense, after all! And we felt that Archon App is the perfect home for it.
We want to really make sure we get this feature right, though. We still have so much more to do (like Cloud Storage to support groupwide POVs). So, we thought we'd bring in someone with a bit more experience in the Video space.
Archon Partnering with Warcraft Recorder
Warcraft Recorder is now part of the Archon Family! We're also excited to share that Alex, the creator of Warcraft Recorder, is also joining the Archon engineering team to help build out the Archon App. He will share his knowledge and experience with us as we build our own recording tool.
Alex shared some thoughts about what this next step means for him and Warcraft Recorder in his recent Reddit post. We'll share some of that here:
"I've known some of the team behind Archon for a long time. Yax and I have raided together for several years, attended guild meetups together and he even encouraged me to work on the video sharing features back when it was just an idea. I know they are as enthusiastic as me about delivering a great video experience tailored for the WoW community.
Our joint vision is that in time the Archon App becomes the one true app with everything you need, including a rich integration of combat log analytics with the video features that Warcraft Recorder users know and love. There is a lot of work to get there, so I also want to re-assure users of Warcraft Recorder that nothing in the short term is changing. Warcraft Recorder continues to be fully supported, free and open source. Warcraft Recorder Pro subscriptions continue as they are, and as a bonus subscribers now get ad-free viewing on the Archon family of websites."

We are officially pushing the app out of beta with this feature update. Still not sure what all the hubbub with this fancy pancy new App is about? We'll show you! You won't want to miss out on this.
Elevate Your Game, Across all Games
The Archon App includes every game we support, all in one app. You'll no longer need to have several applications installed if you play different games. When you launch a game, the App will automatically swap to it for you.
Upload Your Logs
Don't worry, the logging and uploading process is as simple as it always was. In fact, it will get even better. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Auto Logging feature, which will focus on delivering an easy and seamless experience.
Sleek New Report Analysis
The App's revamped report view is designed to be quick and easy to digest. You'll find many similar functions that you are used to here (damage and healing breakdowns, phase support, deaths, etc), along with some new tidbits.
New Filters
Within the raid summary view, you can find premade filters for damage to bosses, to adds, healing done, and more. Sometimes, you'll even find unique encounter character-specific filters to help you with quick analysis.
Cooldowns
Easily view the major cooldowns you and your allies used throughout the encounter, all on a tidy timeline. Using the "Show Filters" option, you can easily toggle displayed abilities on and off.
Updated Character Pages
Character pages have a fresh new look in the Archon App. Profiles have a summary of the content that the character has completed and how they performed. Get a quick view of their gear and specializations. Use the tabs along the top to dive deeper.
Progress Information
See a quick view of how far along in content a player is, and when they achieved that progress, using the new Progress feature found on a character page!
Recents
Keep track of players who may interest you. Recent allies from your logs appear in the character dashboard for easy viewing, while recently checked character profiles will appear at the top of the app.
Build the Best Team
Use the Archon App to search for players and view their progress, parses, and more, to see if they are the right match for your group.
Group Finder Tools
You may recognize this feature from our Companion app. The group finder function allows you to easily look up allies while forming a group in Retail World of Warcraft. Check out their profiles to see if they are a good fit!
Tooltip Addon
Get a quick look at players in-game using our Tooltip Addon, available only in the Archon App.
Damage Meters
FFXIV and SWTOR players can check out our damage meters overlay. Use it to keep an easy eye on how you and your allies are doing mid-fight!
